The 1911 is one of the most recognized firearms in history. Designed by John Browning it has not seen many big changes over the years.

The 1911 platform does invite gunsmiths to take some artistic license to genuinely improve the firearm to be both aesthetic, smooth and highly accurate.

There are a variety of different upgrades that can be done to improve different aspects of your 1911.

Complete Cleaning and Lubrication

Sometimes the more basic things can have a big impact. A complete cleaning and lubrication, returning the firearm to factory condition.

We perform a complete disassembly of the firearm and use both ultrasonic and manual cleaning to remove all old lubricants and grime. Once complete we reassemble, touching the lubrication points.

Trigger Work

The trigger is oftentimes the source of annoyance in a 1911. It seems the trigger pull can never be smooth enough. It can be too hard of a pull. Maybe it's too long or too short.

Whatever the problem, there is a solution.

Match Barrel

One of the most impactful upgrades for you 1911 is a match barrel from Kart or KKM paired with a barrel bushing. This can give the firearm much better accuracy and consistency.

Upgrades
